- Feature maturity transitions — When features move between experimental, beta, and production
- Behavioral changes — Changes to defaults, guardrails, or compatibility
- User-visible bug fixes — Fixes that affect user experience
Minor UI tweaks, internal refactors, and A/B tests are not included. Release notes are immutable once published—they cannot be edited after the fact.
